Public Open Space

Landscape architects and garden designers work on similar
projects , although there can be considerable blurring.
The simplistic view is that garden designers work primarily
on spaces that are private, whereas landscape
architects tend to work on places and spaces viewed
or used by the wider public. The needs and demands
on the spaces are different.

Of course this is far too simplistic, but can be a guide

and this flamboyant cow in pink tracksuit and milk churns in the
central Plaza Mayor of Lima, Peru, scene of many events in the
history of the city
