Wildlife

history takes place in the tree canopy and wandering around
on the ground below can be far less fun than it would be to be
able to swing in the trees. Sometimes others will do the swinging
in the trees, in this instance a team of Howler Monkeys swept
overhead and knocked many of the insects and wildlife from the
tops of the trees to our feet or shoulders. This little frog was
amongst them. The place was Sacha Lodge, in Amazonian Ecuador,
and he is unlikely to have gone short of food because his fall was
accompanied by myriad wonderful grasshoppers and crickets
almost as large as him
