Gazetteers

These photographs are interesting to take in a different
way, for the need is to explore the reasons for why a
feature is to be included in a list or gazetteer and to
record key features. Getting too clever about how
the photograph is taken can be counter-productive
and mask the reason the photograph is needed

Ice House entrance, Firle Park

Historic parks inevitably host a large number of features
that are tied up with periods of activity and phases of design
in the history of the parkland. This is the view from within
the Ice House in Firle Park, Sussex
