Favourites

The reasons for taking any photograph are many and
various and sometimes something about a photograph
can make it one of the photographer's favourites.
Many times it is the memories associated, but occasionally
it can be because something has happened with the
photograph since then

Samson

Many island networks have a long history of ships visiting or
being abandoned along the coasts. What is also of interest is
the treatment meted out to these ships and this is a photograph
looking through the rotting remains of the metal tug Samson
abandoned to time in Whalebone Cove, Stanley in the
Falkland Islands
