Landscape Details

Part of the palette of landscape architecture is the
range of street furniture and detailing of the environment,
either reflecting existing features or introducing new
and innovative designs where the budget will allow

Falkland path

Modern chipped stone path through the mined area east of
Stanley in the Falkland Islands. The ropes are to inhibit humans
from wandering off the path into the heather where Magellanic
penguins are breeding in the summer months. The denser
fencing is next to the areas with the risk of mines
