This categorisation for a landscape architect is always
a tricky one when it relates to photography, because
in photography it always means something very
different and more objective. This can make it a
conceptual 'challenge' when it feels as though it shouldn't be

Connemara

In Connemara, County Galway there are many lakes that lie on
the boggy soils of prior glaciations and the water is coloured
dark by the large amount of peat that grows on the surrounding
slopes and washes into the streams and lakes. This can mean
that the lakes on a still day can produce beautiful reflections
if the light is right and there is little sunshine to complicate
matters. This reflection is in Lough Inagh
