Buildings

There are some highly inspirational buildings around the world
and some 'around the corner'. Some have significant historic
events attached to them, others have just been there for a
bit minding their own business

Inverforth House

Part of the design for the extensive pergola laid out
originally by Thomas Mawson for Lord Leverhulme 1906-11 is
new wood that has restored the look and feel of a highly
fascinating site that has been open to the public as The Hill
Garden since 1963. Since 1989 considerable restoration work has
been carried out, with the needs of the wooden structures continuing
